Giving is at the heart of our stewardship journey. Mount Carmel is planning construction of a new building (Assembly Center) to provide adequate seating for the student body, parents and guests for Masses, assemblies, enrichment activities and ceremonies.

The plan includes renovations of the current gymnasium to include relocation of the existing library and computer lab to create a Research/Technology Center, along with the addition of a science lab to upgrade and expand the science curriculum.

There are many ways to make an offering to the Capital Campaign. All gifts are confidential and will be designated for the Capital Campaign. All gifts are properly recorded, recognized and deposited into a special account to ensure proper fund appropriation. We invite you to prayerfully consider your gift, discuss this with your family, and make your donation by completing the (Capital Campaign Donation Form). Mother Cabrini

The story begins on July 7, 1946 when Mother Frances Xavier Cabrini, prioress of the Missionary Sisters
of the Sacred Heart, was canonized by Pope Pius XII.
Speaking of Saint Frances Cabrini at the canonization Pope Pius pointed to the following:
"Although her constitution was very frail, her spirit was endowed with such singular
strength that, knowing the will of God in her regard, she permitted nothing to impede
her from accomplishing what seemed beyond the strength of a woman"

Saint Frances Cabrini, the first naturalized U. S. American citizen to be canonized, established as one of her sixty-four institutions, an orphanage in New Orleans. Some of the elder Sisters of Mount Carmel told of seeing Mother Cabrini, this saintly nun, walking the streets of New Orleans apparently searching forchildren in need of her help.
